There are a lot of dolly related things I would want for Christmas (Blythe PaM / Ribonetta Wish / Simply Sparkly Spark / Le Jardin de Maman / Vinter Arden, TTYA clothes for MSD and 1/6 dolls, jiajiadoll knitwear, a PKF body, carriers for 1/6 dolls, face shields/protectors, the list goes on..!), but with a partner being only mildly interested – and computer/Internet close-to-illiterate – my best bet is to go with a fullset doll, readily available from a store by the click of a button. So, yesterday I told him that this is what I want for Christmas from him and the kids:

I am not holding my breath, though – it’s more likely that the two of us agree on not getting each other presents at all, and in stead wait for the new year’s sales to get that big TV and a new satellite receiver/subscription, and hopefully some of the furniture needed for my doll room (since the TV is really _his_ wish and not mine…).

I got myself a new lens on Friday, a Lensbaby Composer. I LOVE it!

Pullip goods coming up by the end of the month! These have been displayed in recent doll shows, and now they are here. Check out the frickart store for appr. prices. I am crossing my fingers for PullipStyle et al to get these items too! Eos and Coral are the only motives printed, which is fine with me – I will be looking at the Eos items as I quite like the overall style and image of that release. Not too keen on Lolita fashion, so the Carol products are not that tempting. Will have another, closer, look at each item before I decide for sure, though!

IxTEE is doing it again..! Mui-chan has so many cons; she’s off-topic at DoA (scratch that: seems as they’ve recently changed their minds about her!), her resin is thin, her poseability is limited, her magnet hands and feet fall off easily – yet, she is a BJD every lover of tinies yearns for. From today’s newsletter:

The riding hood version has the closed eyes faceplate as the second option, the wolf version has the grumpy FP. Anyone getting her? Which version? I am not getting any this time, waiting for the boy version to be released. I will however try to get an extra smiling faceplate, since having discovered that one of my two Mui-chan’s faces doesn’t fit too well on the headback (customizing – as in sanding – seems to be a possible cause). I contacted IxTEE earlier this summer about this, and they told me they would keep me in mind. Fingers crossed!
