In addition to my three Blythe, I also have a CCE (color changing eyes) doll and a Basaak doll. Here are some comparison pictures for those of you who consider getting a clone. I definitely recommend the Basaak over a CCE doll..!

Groove updated their website today. If you click the “English” banner, you are redirected to www.junplanningusa.com – which explains things about the confusing “if Jun Planning is bankrupt, why is JP still the distributor of the dolls in the US?”.
The Japanese site is awesome, packed with information. The English speaking website sadly doesn’t date longer back than 2009 as far as Pullips go – I hope they will add to it in the time to come (they have quite a bit to add to the rest of the content pages as well..!).
Look at Nomado Eleonore, didn’t she turn out great from last night’s “spa”? I spray matted her face, one layer only, and used the boiling water method to straighten her wig. It took two or three full kettles to get the hair this straight. She’s also been given a pair of additional eye lashes – she fits so much better with her busty obitsu now that the “innocent young girl” look that she came with has gone!
I may add a few piercings later on – in her ears for sure (she’s already got the holes), and perhaps one in her eye brow as well.
I will have to take a few comparison pictures next to Nomado Lisa later on. I really, really, love how her face turned out with the matting and the fuller eyelashes, but I still believe I’ll keep Lisa stock. Lisa’s soft type 2 body has suffered a bad staining on the hips from a pair of tights that she wore only a couple of days (from Chill’s stock), so there’s a slight possibility that I will obitsu her, but not anytime soon. She’s never showing off her tummy anyway, my girls are always properly dressed. ;)
.. I took the time to compare the freshly arrived mini obitsu (21cm) to the Class Mate stock body.
