Death by work, and a new doll

I am just about to fall over from the workload at work lately, not being made any lighter by the fact that I am aiming to take the next two days off – which I won’t get unless I’ve finished the project I’m assigned to.. Gah. I’ve been at work for 12 hours Mon-Wed, and am still at it at *checks clock* 1.30am. I am taking the kids to my parents’ place, for a family party on Sunday and a few days of much needed r&r ahead of that. On Friday night I’m having a mini-meet with two bjd/Pullip collectors – out of whom, one is also a bjd agent/dealer. I am hoping to find a new wig and perhaps an outfit or two for Simon. I will also show off my three bjds and perhaps a few Pullips.

Yep, _three_ bjds. My Italian beauty Ceres was finally set free from customs! She spent just 2 days on her way from Italy to Norway, then 9 (!) days in Oslo – moving from department to department… Today, my significant other picked her up from the post office, and when I got home I took the time to unwrap her and find her some clothes before I kept on with my work. And now I am taking the time to show her off to all of you – isn’t she just gorgeous? Please click the photo to see more of her on flickr:

She’s a Domuya D1-30 Potpurri, on what’s called a Flexibody. She’s got amazing posability, but is in dire need of some serious sueding to actually _hold_ those poses. Until then, I’ll just savour her pretty looks..! She’s sitting in her box right next to me, with her arm around her little brother Pi. Aww. ;)
