Doll Carnival 2009 “Nouvelle Ouverture”

The first information for this year’s Doll Carnival (held Sunday Dec 6 at La Collezione) has been posted at the Groove blog. The theme is – quite appropriately – “A new beginning”, and there’s a photo contest over the same theme.

gTranslated and transcribed:

1. Send entries to contest@groove.ws
2. All Groove dolls (Pullip/family, J-Doll, Ai BJD) may be used, but photos should not be of customized dolls.
3. Picture res above 200mill pixels (I reckon this means 200dpi).
4. The name of attachment and the photo title should be same.
5. Email subject should be CONTEST.
6. Include in your message your picture title, your name, and your address and phone number.

Deadline is November 15, 2009, at 23:00 (Japanese time, surely)
Contest entries may be exhibited at the carnival (due to limited space, there’s no guarantee that every photo will be exhibited), by submitting your entry you give the copyright to Groove.

A new update will come in the Groove blog within the next week – I hope they will post pics of the promised limited doll then!

  1. I hope the new limited is a byul.

  2. Hah, yeah! That would be a twist, wouldn’t it? I was kind of secretly hoping for a Tae, but a Byul with something special about her wouldn’t be too bad either. So far, steampunk Byul has been the only one that has caught my attention – have yet to see whether she lives up to my expectations, though.
