In a rather bitchy mood

There are quite a few things I could’ve blogged about tonight, like..

- how the rhinestone Pullip killer has struck again. Luckily, only a pair of sun glasses were harmed this time.
- how you don’t put "Good pictures!" in your title when your pictures are actually dark, dull, and blurry.
- how some people should stop arguing in forums when they obviously don’t take the time to stop and actually _read_ the "opponent’s" posts. Maybe we aren’t even disagreeing, ya’ know..
- how it’s kind of stupid to openly (as in spelling it out) rolling your eyes at people who are worried about trojans and viruses on a site since their browser are alerting them of said trojans and viruses. Using a different browser without the alerting system (yep, that was the advice given by the rolling eyes person) won’t make the trojan go away, you know.. Or perhaps it’s like that philosophical dilemma: if a tree falls in a forest and no one is there to hear it, does it still make a sound?..?
- how the Swine Flu isn’t just "a story blown out of proportions by the tabloid press". When WHO raises the pandemic alert level to 5 (out of 6) that really should serve as a wake up call, there are obviously more worrying scenarios than not getting your MyScene dolls delivery from Mexico.

.. but since I am a good girl, known to bite my tongue (alternatively sit on my fingers) when there’s nothing positive to say, I won’t. *pours another glass of red and continues to procrastinate surf the web*

  1. -hugs- It’ll be alright sis!

  2. <3 Aww, Birgit! Let it all out! x)\

  3. *snicker* I’m laughing because I can relate in one way or another to everything you said at some point. The swine flu is a tricky one, it’s like yes take it seriously but don’t panic either. Most people I know are one way or the other but not in the middle…like they probably should be. :P Oh well.

  4. PS seems to be going downhill in general lately, I have pretty much gone back into lurk mode otherwise my brain would explode.

  5. I agree with Hina, PS has been going downhill. That is one of the reasons I opened my Flickr account. Now I can post my pictures there, and I will only use PS as a place I’m browsing through. It’a little bit sad, though, I used to love that place.

About the swine flu, it’s important not to panic but it’s also important to see there are more important things than doll stuff. It really bugs me when people are dying and some people are all “oh no, what about my dolls”. Maybe the internet is partly to blame, I think a lot of people just write stuff and don’t really think about it. Not an excuse, just an explanation.

I saw the “Good pictures” sign to. Just Wow.

  6. At first i didn’t understand what you meant by what rhinestone pullip killer meant, until i went to PS. I’m generally a lurker there, so the changes in the forum don’t bother me, but It does bother me that so many rhinestones made it’s way to a nice, perfectly fine faceup’s, face. I’m all about making your doll your own but what’s the originality in that? I wanna just pm her and ask her what glue she uses and makes sure she knows that it de-values the doll if ever she wants to sell it, but hey it’s none of my business…
