These were found and shared by WasabiMama on Valley Talk. The Korean (?) “Mir” has already been displayed on expos and conventions, but I reckon the August releases are brand new in every aspect.
When Scot of VotD recently asked our opinion for future releases, I wished for fashion collabs – but I meant streetwear, not Lolita.. Oh well, I guess the Angelic Pretty collabs will be warmly welcomed! Not quite sure what to think about the Pullip just yet, I think she looks a bit scary. Even more scary is the fact that I actually find the Byul quite cute..! X__x
I think I may have to get that Dal, but I can do without her outfit.. Or maybe not?

When I first saw these on fliker I just stared and stared. I LOVE THE BYUL OMG. It’s so… wrong… for me to like her. But she’s darling. Somehow that face lends itself so well to lolita. But I never thought I’d like a lolita doll. EVER. I have to get her, unless she’s a billion dollars because it’s a collab…
I am actually quite drawn to the Dal, I think she gets away with the lolita look because she’s meant to be a young girl anyway. I am not too fond of lolita fashion for adults… She has a very nice faceup, and her wig looks like it won’t be too hard to handle (unlike the Pullip wig..!).
For some reason everytime I own a Dal she turns punk. Or even… touch a Dal. Like my sister’s monomono. So maybe if I get the Byul, it’ll … not … turn punk?
The Pullip just looks scary. The little hearts in the eyes, and the crazy big bonnet, and then you know that hair is a nightmare waiting to happen.

I like lolita… but I think what I like is mostly called “casual lolita” which translates to “I don’t look like a 2 year old”. XD

I think Mir is pretty, but I’d like to see her eye better too. It looks really odd in this poster!
Mir is so pretty! I only wish she had two normal eyes instead of one that is fucked up with white.

I don’t like lolita at all, for adults, but the Dal has really grown on me. She looks good in lolita simply because she’s _supposed_ to be a small kid anyway.
The thing on her eye is a kanji/character – I’ve seen pictures of a Dal, a Byul, and a Taeyang, same style, and they all have that (well, at least the Pullip and the Dal, the eyes of the others are hidden by the hair and by a eyepatch respectively).

I agree about the eyes, for an explanation of what it is, see my reply to Jen, above. I am on a bjd wave right now (totally smitten by my newest addition), so it’ll take a lot for a Pullip to convince me to get her. A really, REALLY, cheap Prunella or Adsiltia, for instance! :D
Nomados are love! ;) Seriously, it’s something special about the first doll you get, and mine happened to be a Nomado. Since my first, I’ve been given the opportunity to “rescue” two others – even though the latest, the bait head, doesn’t look anything like a Nomado anymore.
I believe the only role a Byul could play well would be a punk or perhaps a lolita like in the AP collab. A plain schoolgirl Byul is just scary and un-pretty, while as a punk she’d actually look quite nifty. I think.
I’m really really really hoping to get the AP one aaaaand for it to stay Lolita xD

The eye looks better on the photo you linked Jen too though. I still really like everything else about her… I wonder how much she will be!
