October Pullip & Co – Peter Pan

Again the release is a line which has been spotted on doll shows, this time the Disney collab Peter Pan. I actually quite like the Pullip (she would have to be rewigged, though!), Tinkerbell is cute – and the Tae..? Rrrroar!! ;) Without the moustache he’s really, really good looking!

The Byuls have yet to persuade me into liking them.. I had hopes for the Angelig Pretty one, but that fell through when they changed her hair and eye chips. Tigerlily doesn’t do anything for me at all. I believe it’s their absent minded empty stare combined with the drooping mouth which makes me feel meh about them.

Groove Inc has not yet published the October release on their blog, but frickart has the dolls for preorder in their shop and pics on their blog. Price wise, they seem to be cheaper than collabs normally tend to be.

  1. Have to agree, Tinkerbell one is very cute ^^,

  2. Hmm I haven’t quite decided yet what I think of this group.
Thanks for posting the photos, these are much better than what I had seen prior!

  3. I like Tiger Lily Byul! I’m not going to buy her though, as I’m holding off dollie purchases after my last rather impulsive BJD purchase (Soo expensive and money disappeared alarmingly fast out of the account as she obviously needs clothes, shoes and… a winter hat? *why?*)

Tinkerbell actually looks like Tinkerbell which I love! She has that Tinkerbell-look in her mind – strong minded and… a little jealous? lol.

The tae and pullip, I’m a little sceptical about though… I’m sure the pullip will look much better after a re-wig and some different clothes. Peter Pan- wise, I’m rather disappointed that she didn’t come with more spikey, unruly hair. When did Peter Pan display a perfect bob-cut? Hmmm….

  4. I am still waiting for you to get your first Pullip, you know! ;)

  5. I too think they are pretty nice, the whole group (well, not the Byul so much..).

  6. Haha, you’re right about the hair! :D

And yeah, the BJD hobby’s most expensive aspect is definitely not the dolls themselves… At least she’s prepared for winter now! ;)

  7. Ah, I’ve loved Hook since I first spotted him. But is his ‘stache removeable ? Because it’s off in that one photo ! Odd, but if it is than I might seriously consider adding him to my list. And I can only assume that there’s a hand inside that hook.. but perhaps not. XD

  8. I believe it is! And for the hook/hand: I think there’s a hand in there, the same way the Edward Scissorhands Tae has hands inside his scissor thingies.

  9. Ooh. I’ll have to keep an eye on him ! He might replace Missionary on my want list.
