I just had to get poor Simon some pants, and after having raided the kids’ closet for worn out clothes, I decided to make him a pair of jeans:
He looks much happier now, don’t you think?
I took advantage of the outer seams and the bottom hems of the old jeans, and “only” had to sew the inner seams and the top/waist hem. I had some help from the Anyone can sew: Jeans tutorial at DoA.

Thanks, Sarah! It’s difficult and the jeans are by far perfect (the crotch area is.. weird), but it’s still worth it! Getting better with each try. ;)
