Sabrina promo pics

European dealer Atelier Yume has posted promo pics of the March 2010 Pullip, the rumoured Audrey Hepburn character “Sabrina”. Most probably the Dumbo/Pinocchio pics will follow later today. I like her (the Pullip), but I think Princess Ann is prettier. I love short haired Pullips. ;)

Also, the Groove blog has picked up on German dealer plasticpop.de’s clever marketing stunt, the mini website made for the visual kei release – Sue has turned them into a band for real, they’re named ->[ plas:ti:Ka ]<-, and presented in the most awesome manner, complete with a music sample and all. :)

And OMG! the mini Dal IS indeed a mini Jouet, check this cute little one out! I easily predict this to be the most popular mini release EVER..!

Pinocchio and Dumbo are also up there, but I am not convinced.

Sabrina is pretty, but the Aubrey Hepburn collabs (or whatever they are) are getting a tiny bit old. I also like Princess Ann better. That mini Dal is totally adorable! :D

I know! I see myself getting several of her!

Atelier Yume claims in their comments on Facebook and flickr that Japan is having this whole Audrey Hepburn “revival” thing going on, and I guess they primarily target their home market. I agree, though – I don’t really see much of a difference between the latest releases except for the hair colour – and the dresses, of course. For a fan and collector it’s probably heaven, I reckon. For those of us who give the dolls their own character – not so much.

The mini Dal is gorgeous. <3

Did you get any of the new minis? I wonder if they are worth the money as they are quite pricey compared to the old ones that were not of any good quality. This one is too neat not to get though.
