The April 2010 releases have been published on the Groove blog, my wallet is safe and sound although I do quite like the wig of the Dal. From what I’ve read about her before, she’s one of the Korean mythology dolls, like Mir.

Groove calls her Asian goth Tina, and comments on her character stamped eye chip like this XD
The right eyes of the “cat” Brr … mysterious character
While I kind of like her outfit, I’ve found out why I can’t seem to warm up to the Byuls; it’s their stare. I’ve yet to see a Byul where you can actually get some kind of eye contact..!
Groove and frickart posts today about the Happihoridi’s campaign (Happy Holidays, gotta love gTranslate..). It’s the previously mentioned “buy one large doll, get one Little Pullip or Dal for free” campaign, and the targeted dolls are all three Hime Gyaru dolls (Dec) and the Vampire trio (Jan – or, as it says: to be announced for January):

The minis will be randomly picked, of both generations, and may be display dolls (we are warned against minor flaws and production errors). The vampire Dal looks neat!!

Groove has posted pics of the upcoming December releases today; three adorable hime gyaru/decora gals. I really REALLY like their faceups and wigs; not too thrilled about their outfits (but then, my own girls all have a pretty casual fashion style). The Pullip has a snazzy outfit underneath her detachable gown/skirt thing, and her tiara hair piece can be taken off. The Byul has glossy decora clothes, pretty fashionable – and check her shoes! They’re priced to 8400 yen at frickart, translating to appr US$81. Not too bad! The Groove blog entry says 10.500 yen ($113), I guess the frickart shop shows prices before tax.
Again the release is a line which has been spotted on doll shows, this time the Disney collab Peter Pan. I actually quite like the Pullip (she would have to be rewigged, though!), Tinkerbell is cute – and the Tae..? Rrrroar!! ;) Without the moustache he’s really, really good looking!
