Today, there were two packages in the mail. One was for the two tiny BJDs of mine, it contained two ornaments which were perfect as tricycles for the two girls. The other, well it was for the two tinies as well..!

I recently jumped at the chance of adopting a Pury, and today she arrived!

My two BJD girls have been redressed in honour of spring, and I couldn’t help but take a picture of them. Aren’t they just too cute? <33

Ceres (Domuya D-1 30 Potpourri) is dressed in a beret made by my mom, a Sugarmag dress, a pair of Ken jeans, and pleather sneakers from Releaserain. Her wig is from Monique. Little bug (LaTi White Belle) is dressed in a Kelly Club (Barbie) top and shoes from the same brand.

Hooray, Prunella has arrived to the country, hopefully I will have her on Tuesday at the latest (unless she gets stuck in customs). As mentioned before, her adoption caused a special feeling of “completeness”, and there’s really only one of the existing Pullips that I long for now; RIDa. I am not in a hurry to get her, she keeps popping up for sale in different conditions (I have her stock outfit and wig already, so I would be able to get her nude and bald and be happy with that). With that in mind, I find myself spending a bit of time on different BJD sites… My latest “obsession” (as in: I keep going back, secretly hoping for some miracle funds allowing me to purchase the dolls) is a new company, Dollcatch. They’re a sister company of CustomHouse, and uses CH bodies for their dolls. Their release offer is half the price off “market price”, and an additional head added for free! I want all of their SD ($240!) and MSD ($156!!) sized dolls, they’re all gorgeous (first three are SD; next two are MSD):

After having been to the doll meet in Oslo, I’ve also added several dolls to my wishlist.. and there’s no possibility – money wise – of getting any more until May, at the earliest. I know I am spoiled for feeling sad about this, so I will try to not think too much about it. ;)

Lati White status: yesterday marked two months since I placed the order. I posted at their Q&A board about an estimated shipping date, and their reply was “soon”. All of the topics at their board are locked, but from titles I sense that I am not the only one becoming increasingly impatient.. I may have to look to Pukis the next time I want a tiny – I got to see some at the meet and they are much cuter irl than most photos suggest. They’re cheaper and offer faster shipping as well! Hrmf.

Today my salary finally showed up, and I rushed over to the Latidoll site – only to be greeted with the text: [2009-01-05] Closing order of Basic ver. Dolls..! Luckily, the ordering period doesn’t end until next week (the 11th), and so I managed to put an order on little Belle on time! And for you US people: shipping was “only” $38. ;) Shipping from Korea and Japan is often cheaper than shipping from the US for us Europeans, while shipping _from_ Norway is dead expensive no matter which country the receiver lives in..! The worst thing about this is when trying to sell clothes and such – people back out because the shipping is too steep, even though it’s only $4 for lightweight items like a couple of outfits. I am not even telling you how much the shipping cost for a doll is..!

But yeah, this was supposed to be a happy post! :D I ordered and paid for Belle (Lati White, normal skin, face-up, no wig or clothes), paid my pre-order on Arion, got a basic set from Hujoo (yeah, those huuuuuge eyed ones!), and an obitsu for Butler (who came to me with a broken and fixed stiff right ankle). Five days into the new month and my doll budget is already over its limit. *puts January ban on eBay*
